La llegada de Romana al mundo de la Voz fue por “casualidad”, una “coincidencia” que hoy le da certeza de lo que llegó a esta Vida. Para ello ha experimentado que, uniendo técnicas y metodologías corporales y vocales con las emociones, la voz alcanza un punto vibratorio en el que todo es posible: el cambio y la liberación en quien canta o emite el sonido, y la apertura y receptividad de el oyente. Nacida y criada en Marruecos, Romana se inicia aquí en el estudio de la música y el cuerpo mientras se empapa de la cultura del lugar. En 1989 viajó a España, donde estudió música y canto. Una vez terminados, sus pasos la llevan a Senegal para aprender las canciones tradicionales de diferentes maestros. Gracias a este largo camino de aprendizaje, Romana obtiene un conocimiento profundo del cuerpo y su relación con los diferentes estilos musicales; y es este conocimiento el que aporta riqueza, conexión y libertad a todo lo que expresa cuando canta.
Romana‘s arrival in the world of the Voice was by “chance”, a “coincidence” that today makes her certain of what came to this Life. For this, he has experienced that, by uniting body and vocal techniques and methodologies with emotions, the voice reaches a vibrational point in which everything is possible: change and liberation in the one who sings or emits the sound, and the openness and receptivity of the listener. Born and raised in Morocco, Romana begins here in the study of music and the body while soaking up the culture of the place. In 1989 he traveled to Spain, where he studied music and singing. Once finished, her steps take her to Senegal to learn the traditional songs from different teachers. Thanks to this long learning path, Romana obtains a deep understanding of the body and its relationship with the different musical styles; and it is this knowledge that brings richness, connection and freedom to all that he expresses when he sings.
